2SLGBTQ+ Support

Cancer often raises family and relationship issues that can be difficult to navigate, and this is especially true for members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community.

To support individuals within this community, Wellspring offers dedicated support groups for lesbian and queer women, and gay and queer men with cancer – including those who identify as non-binary. These  groups create a safe, affirming space to connect with others who share similar lived experiences, and to explore the unique personal, social and emotional impacts of a cancer diagnosis.

We also have recorded Be Well sessions, which may be of interest:

• Using mindfulness to cultivate self-acceptance, compassion, pride and belonging
• New advances in exercise with an LGBTQ2 lens
