2SLGBTQ+ Support

Cancer often raises family and relationship issues that can be difficult to navigate, and this is especially true for members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community.

To support individuals within this community, Wellspring currently has support groups for lesbian and queer women, and gay and queer men, with cancer (including non-binary). These support groups provide an opportunity to meet with one another to discuss and address your unique experiences and the challenges of a cancer diagnosis.

We also have recorded Be Well sessions, which may be of interest:

• Using mindfulness to cultivate self-acceptance, compassion, pride and belonging
• New advances in exercise with an LGBTQ2 lens
